INSTALLATION & OPERATING:
TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION
The powered system LD DAVE 8XS is a very compact system and it can be easily moved. During operation the
system must be placed on to the rubber feet. Please do never operate the items standing on any kind of trans-
portation board. Otherwise the system can be moved uncontroled. This may cause accidents or damaging. The
integrated amplifer is mounted at the side of the subwoofer.
Please check for enough distance (min. 50 cm) between amplifer and objects like walls, racks etc. to ensure
sufficient heat exchange and prevent overheating. Please take care for a accurate wiring for the power wiring as
for the speaker / input wiring.
Please use only undamaged cables of an adequate size (min. 2 x 1.5 mm² for speaker connection) as well as
only completely unrolled cable reels.
Please check the wiring for any kind of trip hazard etc. to prevent any kind of accidence or damage (Gaffa-Tape).
Please do not install the items directly beside a border. Do not place the subwoofer on a desk.
It is recommended to switch the system to ON as the last one and to OFF as the first one to prevent start-up
noise caused by a connected devices like mixer etc..
SATELLITES
The satellites of the LD DAVE 8XS system are equipped with a 16 mm stand flange. The back panels are ready
for mounting using the SUWMB10 wall mounting bracket.
OPERATING
The main level of the LD DAVE 8XS amplifier can be adjusted as well as the subwoofer level can be adjusted to
the main level. The final main level should be adjusted at the source device (mixer etc.). The available connectors
are an asymmetrical input (RCA) and a symmetrical input (XLR / 6.3 mm jack). Please do NEVER use both inputs
simultaneously! This may cause a damaging of the connected devices!
